Health Care during boarding
A thorough physical examination is carried out on every pet on arrival to the boarding facility by our veterinary team to ensure that they are free from obvious health condition. Routine health checkups and monitoring are conducted continuously during the pet’s boarding period as we understand that there is naturally an inherent risk to injury and sickness. Pets diagnosed with any health condition at any time receive the appropriate veterinary care from our veterinary team with. The owner is always updated accordingly.

Pet Feeding
We feed our dogs and cats twice daily on mainly wet food (Meat and a source of carbohydrates),
morning and evening and also give the dogs a bone to chew and play with as well.
A good bone can keep a dog's attention for hours and is essential for the health of teeth and gums.
We can also cater for pets that have specific requirements for feeding. We also use feeding time as an opportunity to teach dogs simple manners and calmness before being fed, to make our job of looking after your pet easier.
Pet shelter & bedding
We have modern luxurious double room dog kennels where even the biggest dog is able
comfortably walk around, lay on a soft waterproof bed and also enjoy the evening sun set.
At owner’s request or consent dogs are regularly left loose to relax and socialize from in our
spacious compound as if at their home. Only well socialized dogs are given this freedom just for
the common safety.
We have a modern and luxurious spacious cattery where the cats enjoy the fancy cat trees,
tunnels and puzzles.
At owner’s request, well socialized cats are also left to enjoy the big and
luxurious common room where they relax and socialize with other cats. Only cats that were
castrated or spayed are allowed to socialize so as to prevent accidental breeding.
Requirements
For the common good, all pets should have the following minimum requirements before they are
accepted for boarding at our facility;
1. Proof of up to date vaccination against Rabies and DHPPiL. The vaccination must have
been administered by a qualified veterinary doctor or institution. If the owner is unable to
avail this, the above vaccines shall be administered by our veterinary team on arrival to
the boarding facility.
2. Pet should be free from parasites (ticks, fleas, mites, internal parasites). All pets will must
be treated again by our veterinary team with parasite prevention care on arrival, during
their stay and on departure from our boarding facility. This is also for the common good.

Why is leaving my dog alone in the comfort of his home a bad idea?
The fact that nobody’s around can create feelings abandonment, triggering depression, anxiety and even destructive behavior. If you have someone stopping by only once or twice a day for feedings, your pet might suffer a debilitating health crisis that goes unnoticed for hours.
Will my pet enjoy his stay?
We make every effort to provide the most positive and comfortable surroundings for the dogs who stay with us. In addition to taking your dog for regular walks, we also group dogs by temperament and size for safe, happy playtime sessions.
My dog doesn't socialize much. Can you accommodate his personality?
Just like humans, some dogs are more outgoing and some are more shy and quiet. Let us know if your dog fits that description and we will strive to provide a more serene, private experience for him.
What health criteria must my dog meet?
We require all dogs who stay here to be current on the usual core vaccinations, as well as receiving a vaccination for Bordatella (kennel cough). Your dog must also be protected against heartworm and fleas, with no signs of parasite issues in his fecal sample.
Is your boarding facility clean and safe?
We maintain a secure, hygienic boarding facility at all times. This insistence on cleanliness, along with the health criteria required by your veterinarian, ensure a healthy environment for all guests.
Can I take a tour?
Absolutely. We encourage tours. Stop by your local Camp at any time during our regular hours and request a tour. No appointment is needed and we look forward to showing you around Camp!
Do you accept pets that are not spayed or neutered?
Yes, Pet Paradise accepts unaltered or intact pets. All pets that are unaltered and over 6 months of age will receive their two complimentary play sessions individually with a Pet Paradise Pack Leader or with other dogs from their family. However, Pet Paradise does not accept any pets in heat; we apologize for any inconvenience.
